We met whilst working with what became a high-growth VC backed Medtech business, each of us contributing from different angles. Taylor was bringing CFO discipline, fundraising experience and commercial clarity having previously been an MD at various times. Damian was leading technology, operations, manufacturing and transformation in a regulated environment.
What quickly became obvious was that we shared the same frustration: ambitious SMEs often know where they want to go but lack what it takes to get there.
They do not need more theory. They need the visibility and understanding required to make growth happen.
That shared belief became Miravos.
Whilst working for a multinational, Taylor spent 2 years in Barcelona. An experience that opened his eyes to seeing how growth can happen which with hindsight he’s been seeking out, ever since.
Over the past 10 years across several SMEs, he’s unpacked and put into practice what he saw back then. Those SMEs had little if anything in common, yet each achieved rates of revenue growth ranging from 25% p.a. and in most cases, exceeding 100%.
Damian brings more than 20 years of experience across technology, transformation and operational leadership, from scaling regulated MedTech operations at Open Bionics to leading major growth and productivity programmes at PepsiCo. His work has spanned product, manufacturing, digital transformation, governance, commercial strategy and organisational change.
Together, we have built Miravos an AI enabled platform for SMEs to get going and keep going with growing.
